Mount Lemmon August

We took advantage of one of JP's golden weekends (actual weekends) to escape the heat and head up to Mount Lemmon.  We found a nice hike up at the top of the mountain that we have not done in a while and had a great time.

Here are Abigail and Dada having an apricot snack:

It felt like it took a long time for us to find the meadow that was our stopping point, but once we made it we were rewarded with great views and nice shade. It took a little longer I think because our big girl wanted to walk on her own part of the time.

More apricots with Mama!

Once we made it back to the trail head, we wandered into the little town and got to eat a yummy lunch. It was a great time to cool off from the heat!
