Happy Birthday Abigail!

This is a busy but exciting time of year for us and we got to celebrate Abigail's birthday just a few days after Thanksgiving this year.  Luckily, both JP and I were able to take off the actual day of her birthday, so we had a little family adventure on the day itself, followed by a party with her friends at the park the next weekend.

Abigail's big present was a big girl bed, which had not arrived on her birthday day as we ordered it to come after thanksgiving so we could have some space to host our guests. But, she did get a few little presents including a shopping cart, m&ms, and holiday pajamas. As you can see, they were a hit!

 We then made brownies to be eaten later in the day:

 Then we set off on our birthday adventure. We took the blue train (the streetcar) downtown to the children's museum, two of Abigail's favorite things!

 

On the way home, we got off the train to get lunch at Abigail's favorite restaurant, Panera.  We went home and relaxed after nap and had a good relaxing time before eating our brownies that night!

Later in the week, Abigail's bed came. She was very excited to help set it up:

 

 She loved getting up in her big bed with her new hello kitty and nice new sheets and quilt!

 So cozy!
