4th of July in New Mexico

We took a break from the heat and took a long weekend trip over 4th of July to visit JP's extended family in New Mexico.  Several of JP's family members from Phoenix came as well so we had a great time seeing lots of family.

Here is Abigail all set for the car trip (it was about 4 hours and she only slept about 45 minutes each way)

The first day we went to the farm and ranch museum with some of Abigail's cousins and Grandma Mary

We also got to check out the tractor and the dog at the family farm:

And we had a nice time at the playground before heading back home:

We had a nice time and it was great to get out of the heat and see family!
