Christmas adventures: Snow!

It was a very snowy December in the midwest, so every time we talked to JP while he traveled and talked to my parents, Abigail got in the habit of asking to see the snow and was very excited about getting to see it.  We kept talking about how maybe she would get to see the snow when we got to Ohio and how maybe there would be snow on Christmas, but tried to avoid making any promises.

Of course, the day we flew out to Ohio, it was 57 degrees and rainy. While this may have helped our smooth travel day, it also meant that all the snow melted and there was none in sight.  Luckily, we woke up on Christmas Eve to a nice, light dusting of snow to go along with much colder weather.

Abigail was so excited when she woke up and we told her to look outside!  We got all bundled up.
Abigail was a little unsure what to do once we got out there.
Eventually she decided it was pretty fun, especially when we chased her around!

It was freezing cold (I think the high was only around 18 that day, and this was fairly early in the morning) so we called it quits before too long. Abigail initially protested and asked for more snow, but managed just fine once we found something else to do inside!
