In Lima

To follow up on our last post on Lima, here is a photo of our room at the hostel with its four beds, just to prove we were serious. JP is hanging out after our day of wandering around in the city.

The next day, we found some churros con manjar with breakfast--here is JP enjoying one in the Plaza de Armas, the main square in downtown Lima. The weather was cool, in the low 60s, and it was cloudy, as you can see in the photo, so it was a bit of a shock to the system after the Phoenix summer.

After our snack, we went to the Cathedral de Lima (no photos allowed inside--sorry!)

We made it to Tacna and things are off to a great start--more later!
