Family Vacation

We had a great time in Rocky Point, Mexico, last week, for our first vacation as a family of three.  It was JP's spring break and I took several days off so we packed up the car and headed out on a Saturday, to return on Tuesday. The drive down takes about 4 hours and Abigail did fairly well in the car overall, although she was getting a little restless by the end on both trips.

But it was worth it:

Abigail enjoyed checking out the sand with her beach toys, and digging holes with dad:

She was less sure about the water as she asked to be picked up quickly when we tried to put our toes in for any significant length of time:

So we went back to playing in the sand, which Abigail liked:
