Saying night-night

Over the past month or so, Abigail has begun helping put things to bed, usually by covering a stuffed animal or toy with a blanket and patting it.  We have encouraged this and taught her to say "shh!" with her finger to her lips as well because it is so funny. She will do this to JP or I as well if we lie down, and will go to get a blanket from the cupboard in her room if needed.

So, earlier this week, JP lay down on the floor in the living room and said good night.  Abigail checked this out for a minute, then trotted off to her room, got out a blanket and returned to cover up JP and pat him.  Check her out:
