Vacation: Pool Time

After we had some fun on the beach and trying to stick our toes in the waves, we moved back to the pool in the condo complex.  Luckily, one of the three pools was heated and we were able to get in and enjoy the water with Abigail.

She was cautious at first:

But she warmed up quickly.
She also enjoyed the bumblebee float that was a gift from Grandma Mary and Grandpa Tom:

It was a little cold with the afternoon breeze so we didn't use it a whole lot, but it will be great for the pool in our complex this summer.

Abigail also enjoyed the kiddie pool and chasing her shoes around:

Getting braver in the water with Daddy:

By the last day, Abigail had gotten much more comfortable in the water, to the point that she would try to twist away from us even when she had nothing else to hold on to. When we came to get her with the towel, she had learned that this meant the pool time was over and would try to run away. In fact I think she cried every time we had to get out of the pool and go back up to the condo, but we were able to calm her down and distract her pretty quickly.
