Zoo Fun!

JP has been working a totally ridiculous rotation right now (trauma surgery) so that has meant lots of one on one time for me and Abigail.  We are making the most of it, even though we miss him!  Abigail will often look for him on the mornings when he is still at the hospital after leaving first thing in the morning the previous day. She will point to the couch or the kitchen table where he usually sits and say "da da!" Like, this is where Dada should be, and I have to explain that he is still working but will be home at night or whatever.

The first weekend in April was a long shift day so Abigail and I took ourselves to the zoo to enjoy the animals. We seemed to have really good luck--the monkeys were swinging, the elephants were coming close to us, the giraffes were eating, the rhino was moving around, so we had a blast.

Here are some photo highlights:

 bye bye zoo!
